Some ways to safeguard your precious timepieces have been outlined by us in this article. Do pay close attention:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>1. Don\u2019t wear extra accessories on the wrist you wear our watch- <\/strong><br \/>\nDuring the monsoons, friction generated by the rubbing of two metals against each other can lead to corrosion of the case, scratch the leather of our strap, or even ad an unwanted zing to the sapphire crystal of the dial. It would be better to avoid accessories such as bracelets to your non watch wearing wrist.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>2. Avoid wearing watches with leather straps-<\/strong><br \/>\nIt is universally acknowledged that wearing watches with metal bracelets is a safer bet during the rains. Some people suggest that applying a little bit of oil to the leather strap helps protect the strap during monsoons. We will request you to refrain from using oil on light coloured leather straps, as there is a possibility it might change colour. You can use a little bit of oil only on black coloured leather straps, to protect them from the rains.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>3. Dry your watch if it gets wet in the rain- <\/strong><br \/>\nNo matter how hard you try, there will be moments where you won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be able to avoid the rains. Fret not, we have you covered. Avoid blow-drying your watch after it gets wet. Simply dry the watch with a dry cotton cloth and keep it under the fan. Please avoid using any extra procedures to artificially dry your watch, as it can lead to corrosion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>4. Understand your watch\u2019s water resistant durability- <\/strong><br \/>\nWatches have different water resistant capabilities, which are usually imprinted on the dial. From 30 meters to 300 meters, watches exhibit varying levels of durability. For the monsoon season, it would be advisable to use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kapoorwatch.com\/watches\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Water Resistant watches<\/a> above 30 meters. Watches that are not water resistant should be avoided during the monsoon season.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>5. Check you watch parts before stepping out in the rain-<\/strong><br \/>\nBefore stepping out in the rain, you need to properly examine your timepiece for certain things. It is very important to check that the crown and push pieces of your watch are fully screwed down. This will ensure that water does not seep into the movement case and adversely affect the timepiece.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A timepiece is a gentle object that demands care and attention. We would recommend you to get your watch serviced, both before and after the Monsoon season.
