Cartier Tank Francasie Watches
The Tank collection was designed by Louis Cartier in 1916, and the brand has remained faithful to the original concept created by him till date. The collection represents a delightful harmony between watch making excellence and perfect geometry and has found itself being written about in many fashion magazines, being worn by many celebrities including Lady Diana and Michelle Obama, and getting featured in famous movies. A contemporary interpretation of Cartier's signature Tank design, the Tank Francaise is a stylish blend of strength and beauty and a sophisticated accent for any occasion. As a result of many years of hard work and intense research, Tank Francasie features strap attachments that fit perfectly into the case by the twin parallel lines of the brancards. This union of the strap with the case is believed to be one of the most remarkable accomplishments by Cartier under the genre of new and modern watches. It is also very thin to wear on the wrist. The medium version WSTA0005 under this collection features a thin curved steel case on an elegant brushed solid stainless steel bracelet with polished borders and a hidden deployment clasp. The watch is powered by Cartier caliber 057 quartz movement ensuring excellent accuracy. The silver grained dial is very elegant and boasts bold black Roman numerals, blue steeled sword shaped hands and a date function completing the traditional Cartier look. An octagonal crown, appointed with a blue spinel cabochon renders it a distinctive touch. Among the other features are its sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, bracelet in stainless steel and water resistance of 30 meters.
