Panerai Luminor Due Watches
Panerai watches are seen as some of the most iconic ones to ever step into the Haute Horlogerie industry. The brand started off its journey into watchmaking by making state of the art and highly functional tool watches for the Italian Navy. After all, it all began with the Radiomir. The Radiomir was soon replaced by the much sturdier and safer Panerai Luminor.
The Luminor Due we see today is the matured and seasoned version of the Panerai Luminor 1950. The watch is very similar to its counterpart, the Luminor 1950 in many ways. The dial, the hour indices, the hands, and the squared cushion case. The difference, however, is the thickness and refinement of the timepieces. The earlier references of the watch are known for their bold and masculine vibe. The Luminor Due, on the other hand, is a much slimmer, thinner, and sleeker version of the cult watch collection. Today, the Luminor Due, literally translating to ‘two’ in Italian is a leading name in the list of top tier high-end watches. It might not be a tool watch anymore but it is definitely a quality timepiece. The watch has retained its iconic crown guard, it luminosity, and its coveted sandwich dial.
