Green watches aren’t everyone’s cupcake, that is for sure. TAG Heuer, as many would know, is not a brand that fools around and every watch it launches deserves a look.
The all-new TAG Heuer Carrera Green Special Edition is simply too eye-catching. The vintage-inspired timepiece is a limited edition creation paying homage to the Swiss watchmaker’s chronograph-making history. As a matter of fact, this release comes after a TAG Heuer released another green-dialed timepiece, the Monaco Green in the celebration of Gran Prix De Monaco Historique.
The All-New TAG Heuer
The new timepiece pays a direct tribute to an old Heuer reference 2447. It shares most of its aesthetics including the impressive domed sapphire crystal. The lume plots are also applied above each of the equally retro-evocative indexes.
Fun fact, there is no vintage green dial Heuer Carrera. This is the reason, this watch feels very new despite the teal hue feeling very mid-century. It actually looks like the kind of timepiece that might be sitting in the basement collecting dust.
