Newly Launched Bvlgari Octo Watches – The LVMH Watch Week 2020

Bvlgari is a brand that specialises in trailblazing. The watchmaker recently became a part of the mass exodus of watchmakers from the coveted Baselworld watch expo and the LVMH Watch Week 2020 was proof of that. The Italian-origin Swiss luxury watchmaker had something of a spectacle to show in this year’s LVMH Watch Week. The brand showcased some of its latest launches and they were pure fire. One of these new additions was the Bvlgari Octo. The Octo Finissimo is a watch that was released only back in 2017 and ever since then the timepiece has only grown and expanded its reach in the business.

Novelties 2020: Bvlgari at LVMH Watch Week

The original Octo Finissimo Automatic watch was made available in sandblasted titanium only. Well, Bvlgari has finally listened to the buyers and released four new versions of the beloved timepiece, in sandblasted rose gold, satin-finished rose gold, stainless steel, and black all-ceramic.

The case of the watch is a solid 40 mm 18-carat rose gold. The back of the watch consists of a sapphire crystal see-through case back. Inside the watch, a manually wound BVL362 minute repeater movement powers the whole apparatus. With a small seconds display located at 6 o’clock and 42 hours of power reserve, the timepiece is a sight to behold. The dial of the watch is 18-carat sandblasted rose gold and the strap offered is brown leather with an 18-carat rose gold traditional Ardillon buckle.

Bvlgari Satin-Polished Rose Gold/Steel Octo Finissimo Automatic Ref. 103286/Ref. 103297

The satin polished 18-carat rose gold and 40 mm case comes with the same see-through sapphire crystal case back as the timepiece mentioned above. The Movement inside, however, is the BVL138 which is an automatic calibre and offers up to 60 hours of power reserve. The watch has a water resistance of about 100 meters and the dial comes with central hours, minutes, and a small seconds display. The crown too is made of 18-carat rose gold and has a ceramic inlay.

The steel version is exactly the same except for the fact that its case is made of stainless steel. The bracelet, on the other hand, is once again made of satin-polished steel and comes along with a folding clasp.

Bvlgari Black Sandblast-Polished Ceramic Octo Finissimo Automatic Ref. 103368

Reference 103368 Bvlgari Watch is an all-ceramic watch that has a case made of sandblasted polished ceramic and stands at 40 mm in diameter. The case is 5.50 mm thick and has a water resistance of about 30 meters. The BVL138 does a fantastic job and musters up to 60 hours’ worth power reserve. The dial is made of sandblasted ceramic and displays central hours, minutes, and a small seconds display.
