Dubai Watch Week 2025 returns in its seventh biennial edition, doubling its footprint to 60,000+ watch fans and 90+ brands. Held at Burj Park’s 200,000-square-foot Dubai Mall, Dubai Watch Week celebrates its 10th anniversary as well as the founding partner, Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons’ 75th anniversary. In quintessential DXB fashion, the 2025 edition focused on experimentalism, big moves, and counter-culture expression. As the region’s premier horological fair, Dubai Watch Week is embraced as a platform for open dialogue between collectors, journalists, retailers, and industry leaders. Chopard L.U.C Grand Strike
DXB is all about upping the ante — Chopard channels this emotion with their most complex watch to date. This mechanical maze of a dial showcases the workings of a grand sonnerie, petite sonnerie, minute repeater, and tourbillon. As an acoustic wonder of time, it required 11,000 hours of R&D, comprises 686 components, and draws on ten proprietary patents. Furthermore, this 43-millimetre 18-carat ethical white gold L.U.C houses the newly developed manual calibre L.U.C 08.03-L, which is COSC-certified and bears the prestigious Poinçon de Genève hallmark.
Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Mattar Bin Lahej Limited Edition
Over the last decade, Bvlgari’s Octo Finissimo lineup has earned a bold reputation for ultra-slimness while also serving as a canvas for the world’s most celebrated artists. For Dubai Watch Week 2025, Emirati artist Mattar Bin Lahej reimagined this Roman ultra-slim icon with laser-engraved Arabic calligraphy. Drawing inspiration from the words of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum: “The future will be for those who can imagine, design, and implement it. The future does not wait, but it can be designed and built today,” the 40-millimetre and integrated bracelet is draped in Arabic wording. Limited to 10 pieces.
TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph Air 1
Steve McQueen’s 1969 Le Mans eternally placed the Monaco’s square case at the intersection of motorsport and watchmaking. At DWC25, inspired by its F1 ties, TAG Heuer unveils a skeletonized Monaco, created using an avant-garde ‘Selective Laser Melting (SLM)’ technology. This additive manufacturing technique is used in aerospace, medical, and automotive industries to create precision components. Crafted out of 41-millimetre grade 5 titanium, its case is sculpted to mimic air intake valves on hypercars. Inside, the calibre TH81-00 boasts a split-seconds chronograph function and power reserve of 55-65 hours. Limited to just 30 pieces.
Breguet Reine de Naples Crazy Flower
Celebrating their 250th anniversary this year, Breguet’s flagship feminine line, the Reine de Naples, takes center stage at DWC25. Blooming in shimmery radiance, this Crazy Flower boasts a total of 436 diamonds with baguette-cut diamonds as petals, designed to ‘ripple’ with movement — like a flower kissed by a gentle breeze. At its center, we see a fully diamond-paved dial featuring two Breguet hands. On display through its caseback, the calibre 586/1’s platinum oscillating weight boasts a hand-guilloché platinum.
Audemars Piguet x Dubai Future Foundation Perpetual Calendar Setting and Winding Box
DXB truly embraces innovation with sights on the future. It’s only fitting for AP to showcase a prototype watch box in collaboration with Dubai Future Foundation (a government-led tech incubator). Beyond winding, it can set the calendar and time on the recent calibre 7138-powered 41-millimetre AP Perpetual Calendar Royal Oak. Featuring Bluetooth connectivity, the box algorithm is trained on a wide range of dial configurations and can adapt to each watch individually.
Girard-Perregaux Laureato Three Gold Bridges
The Laureato, GP’s top-line integrated luxury sports watch, turned 50 this year and was originally launched to compete against the Royal Oak, Nautilus, and 222. For DWC25, GP combined the Laureato with the Three Bridges, its sister collection, creating an icon born from two. Measuring 41-millimetres wide, it fuses the best of both worlds: Laureato’s sharp angles and Three Bridges’ skeletonized architecture. The piece comprises 303 components and 418 hand-polished bevels. Limited to 50 pieces.
Gerald Charles × Ahmed Seddiqi Maestro 2.0 Ultra-Thin ‘Tiger’s Eye’
If there’s one maison that understands the poetry of shapes, it’s Gerald Charles. Created exclusively with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, the Maestro 2.0 Ultra-Thin ‘Tiger’s Eye’ is a tribute to Gerald Charles’s 25th anniversary and the Seddiqi’s 75th anniversary. At first glance, the defining feature is its dial, crafted from natural tiger’s eye stone, which gives the watch a dazzling, chatoyant play of golden, brown, and black bands. The case is another standout: a 39 × 41 millimetres stainless steel shell with a warm Colormix brown finish — a first for Gerald Charles — that subtly echoes the dial’s earthy tones.
Frederique Constant Classics Moneta Moonphase
The Moneta gets its name from the coin-inspired flange, a subtle nod to vintage currency milling. What looks like a traditional fluted bezel actually sits below the sapphire crystal, giving the design an architectural twist. For DWC25, this Classics Moneta Moonphase arrived in a sun-yellow gold case edition, which is contrasted by a black dial. At six o’clock, it rests on the moonphase complication. Inside rests a quartz calibre offering an impressive five-year battery life.
Hublot Big Bang Titanium Grey & Big Bang All Black x Ahmed Seddiqi 75th Anniversary
Celebrating the Big Bang’s 20th anniversary and Ahmed Seddiqi & Son’s 75th anniversary, Hublot honours the Middle East’s rich heritage. Presented in a 43-millimetre case crafted out of grey titanium with King Gold pushers, it creates a striking interplay of monochromes and golden splashes. The dial’s stamped carbon fibre checkered motif pays homage to the original 2005 Big Bang. As a Seddiqi special edition, its applied Eastern Arabic gold numerals are Super-LumiNova dipped. The dial also features a 60-minute chronograph register at two o’clock and a date window at 4:30.
Vanguart Black Hole Arabic Numerals Edition
Signing off with an independent brand feature, one that focuses on warping time around a central void and a flying tourbillon. Fusing the case and movement into one fluid object, its exoskeleton case is cast in grade 5 titanium and stretches 45 millimetres wide. The dial features a concentric three-tier automation with linear time display on three coaxial discs. In the spirit of DXB, it features Eastern Arabic indexes. All this is powered by the manual calibre T-1701, which comprises 775 components and a 42-hour power reserve.
