Audemars Piguet is definitely a serious brand, with a serious legacy. However, that does not mean that once in a while, Switzerland’s finest can’t have fun. The proverb, all work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy, is the addendum that makes Audemars Piguet’s new Oak Offshore Diver Chronograph an exceptional collection.
Summers are all about adventure and this year’s AP diver timepieces with a splash of yellow, green, blue, and orange are the perfect summer companion with boasting fresh design elements and fun features. Blackened white gold hands and hour-markers stand out against bright, high-contrast and funky colours.
The watch features the automatic caliber 3124/3841 fitted to the 42 mm stainless-steel case that can dive up to 300 meters. The dial is in the traditional AP “Méga Tapisserie style and features the characteristic double indexes at 12 ‘o’ clock, which was introduced for the first dive watch and allowed the dial to be more visible underwater. The internal rotating bezel is color-blocked with the diving scale and zone (from 60 to 15 minutes) again for better visibility. The watch also features subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register.
The new chronograph version brings Audemars Piguet modern approach to the next level with bright and bold colour options for the new Royal Oak Offshore Diver Chronograph: bright yellow, vibrant orange, deep blue (with a splash of yellow), in-your- face green, and lastly, the subtle white with tinges of blue.
