Ceramic is lighter than steel and also exceptionally hard and highly scratch-resistant, making it an attractive material for wristwatches. The ceramic case is complemented by a stainless steel crown and case back ring, as well as a deep blue sunray-finished dial – a hallmark of IWC’s special editions created in honour of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s world-famous tale.
