Tag Heuer Carrera was named after the road race CARRERA PANAMERICANA by Jack Heuer. The series was designed keeping in mind an easy to read, wide open and shock resistant dial and waterproof case to handle the most intense road wear. The In-House movement called the Calibre 1887 was created in 2010 for the Carrera case which was another stepping stone for Tag Heuer towards fine watchmaking.
